ThreadLocker-High Strength (Part #ATL2)

This RED material is a High strength anaerobic adhesive used to hold fasteners (usually metal) into place. Anaerobic adhesives are the opposite of most adhesives in that they cure with an ABSENCE of air! CONTACT WITH METAL also ACCELERATES the curing process! This is a key reason why the amount of material in the containers is NOT full and why you SHOULD NOT use the metal tips with neither the #ATL1 nor the #ATL2.

Once you use the material, it is always a good idea to pull/draw air back INTO the Precision Shot container by pulling back lightly on the plunger. Because of the nature of the materials, both the #ATL1 and the #ATL2 have a relatively short shelf life. This shelf life is very volatile (2-8 months in most cases) since the amount of airspace in the container can change upon each use.

Unfortunately, this is just the nature of the material and it’s characteristics but this is what it is intended to do.

  • Pourable? YES
  • Self Leveling? YES
  • Recommended Tips: ONLY ALL PLASTIC TIPS
  • Recommend Tip Caps? To maximize shelf life, lightly pull plunger back to draw air back into the Precision Shot container and replace tip with original clear endcap!

Polyurethane Glue (Part #APUG)

This is the liquid form of polyurethane adhesive. It has a tremendous number of uses. It is a great gap filler and will bond to many materials. Polyurethane Glue cures by attracting moisture and thus will expand and foam upon curing. This foaming and expansion makes it great to fill cracks in wood, plastic, concrete, etc. This glue is very strong and durable.
